What is this all about?

O.k. so what is all this myspace, facebook, and i guess even blogging all about? It is out of control. And so I guess I'm out of control cause I'm into it. I don't have a myspace account. But everything else is seriously addicting and I'm sick of having to check everything everyday! But I will keep doing it cause I have no life.

Family Night Flop;(

We've been trying really hard to have family night. Connor is getting to the age where it is really important. It's so exciting cause he point to Jesus' picture and will say "Jesus...Brother" I always tell him he is his big brother. Sometimes he gets confused cause he has this little Alma action figure and he tells me that he's Jesus. Oh well... Well on Monday for family night we TRIED to make a gingerbread house. Mike and I are professionals at not reading the instructions. So we were trying to get the dang thing to stand up and it just wouldn't. After we totally ruined the thing we read the instructions and it said to place something in the center to support the walls(oops) and to let it sit for 30min so the frosting will dry(oops) Welp better luck next year.

Well I did it! I wanted to grow my hair out and it was the longest it had ever been. Then I got sick of it, and I know I just look better with short hair. But I wanted to donate it so it had to be atleast 8". And it barely made the cut, so I cut off just a little over 8 inches. Here are some pics. I love my new haircut thanks Kylie

i've been tagged a bunch of times and i love it. this one i tell 6 quirky things about myself.

1. i'm always freezing. even in vegas summers i'm always cold.
2. when i clean i have to do things in a certain order. first the dishes then the counters and then i vacuum hen i mop
3. little noises bug the crap outa me. like one someone clicks a pen over and over again i can't handle that.
4. i hate wearing makeup. i wear it just to make myself look older but i've been told it doesn't help.
5. when i pull into the garage my front windshield hits the tennis ball and i just keep inchin forward. i like to pull in far so i can shut the garage door and still be able to open my liftgate on my car.
6. i love to crawl into bed and get cozy and spoon mike for about 5 min. or less then i have to roll over and sprawl out on the bed. i need my space to sleep.

Goodbye Primary

During opening exercises in primary one of the bishopbric came up and asked if we could meet after church. Of course I said yes. I was so nervous during the rest of church. About a week before he asked our primary president how long I had been in (2 years in this ward and 1year in our previous ward) cause they found someone to replace me. And that something was in the works for me. Doesn't that sound big? Anyways during our meeting I was dying just wanting to know what the calling was. Well as of today I'm officially just to enjoy Relief Society. NO CALLING...YET! Isn't that nice. He said to relax for now but I will be getting a calling soon.

NEW JOB!

Alright I'm so excited after an intense interview, a crazy worded online quiz, and 2 reference checks I landed a job at Anthropologie! I'm stoked because I if I wanted to I only have to work 1 day a week. It pays pretty good, and I get 40% off their clothes which are my favorite and pretty pricey so this will help. I'm so excited.

6 MONTHS!

OUR LITTLE BIG CHASE IS 6 MONTHS! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT. ISN'T HE SO CUTE. HE WAS SICK ALL DAY YESTERDAY BUT DOING MUCH BETTER TODAY. WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH, YOU CAN GET HIM TO SMILE AT ANYTHING. BUT CONNOR IS THE MASTER AT GETTING HIM TO GIGGLE. WE LOVE YOU CHASE!

A NEW DAY

Last night Robin, Amy, and I went to Celine Dion. It was extraordinary! The dancers were amazing and her voice was phenomenal.

My brother-in-laws cousin does the spotlight for the show so we got in for FREE! And we got to sit in the lighting area which wasn't bad at all it's not any worse than the balcony seats. And we had a little t.v. to watch so we could see her face close up and when the stage was completely black the t.v. screen showed what was going on onstage(her changing outfits).

Then after the show we got to take Celine's personal elevator down and walk around the stage. It was awesome. Thanks Robin and Jake. If Mike fails I know I can always count on you guys...J/Kmike.(good thing he never reads this)

Lacey and Jordan

My little sister just left my house and I'm way sad. I love having family come and visit. We got along really well and I must say I was a little stunned. A lot of things has happened this past year and I'm glad to see Lacey so happy. And we really like Jordan. While they were here we ate out and went to Primm twice. Primm is on the state line of Nevada and California and has great shopping outlets. We had so much fun. No pics though sorry!

bummed

so this is what our backyard looked like last year, but this harsh summer killed everything. we are so sad all of our grass is burned to a crisp. and we had to plant new palm trees, and now connor won't go out there without shoes. i guess thats what we get for trying to have a utah yard in las vegas. i would post pictures of what it looks like but i'm way to embarressed.

This last weekend the Runnin' Utes played UNLV. And boy did they get stomped on! It was still fun to get out and go to the game, the weather was perfect, and the company was even better. Laura and Scottie's family came down to the game and stayed with us. Hopefully the Cougars will do better they come down in a couple weeks.

We went to dinner at the Coppermill then when we got back to my apt. it was decorated with rose pedals and candles. Then he popped the question.

Salt Lake Temple. May 12th 2004. BEST DAY EVER!!

HOW DID YOUR RECEPTION GO?
PERFECT. I loved every minute of it up til we left in a horse drawn carriage then the real reception started!!!!(to much info?)

HOW WAS THE HONEYMOON?
Best ever, we took a Western Carribean cruise, so we hit Grand Caymen Island, Jamaica, and Cozumel Mexico. Plus the ship was a blast. I think Mike had a good time he read 3 Harry Potter books.(while I laid out, he burns easy)

MICHELLE TIME

This is so bad but my new favorite thing to do is put my kids down for naps at 1 then i run to the freezer and grab a mint creamie dipped in chocolate! then i jump on the couch flip on lifetime and watch golden girls. feel free to share your guilty pleasures.

BOWLING

On Monday we went bowling with the Patrick's. It was a blast, Connor had the time of his life. He is such a good bowler. Next time we go he's gonna get his own lane. But his shoes were to small and he got way bad blisters. Mike and I love bowling too we have our own shoes and balls.

Big week for Chasers

so earlier this week Chase started rice cereal! he spits it out but he is getting better at eating off of a spoon. it is so cute he is always a mess by the time we are done. Even more exciting he rolled over today!!! i was sewing and he was on his play mat on his back. he started squawken so i looked over and he was on his tummy. he is such a cutie. we went to the dr. on tuesday and he got 5 shots(immunization is soooo important) and the dr said he is in the 95% for height and the 85%for weight. connor on the other hand is in the 25% for weight and the 35%for height. which is seems wrong cause he is just as tall as lots of 3 year olds in my ward. does anybody know a website where it has a growth chart? maybe i'll just google it.

OUCH!!

So yesterday at the gym we did a spin class and boy does my butt hurt! I thought my legs would be dead but actually it is my butt hurts the most. It feels like it is bruised. I think I'm gonna have to get padded biker shorts. (sexy) I loved the class, thanks Megan. I couldn't stay the entire time though cause chase(4m) wouldn't stop crying cause he was so tired. He seriously only sleeps like 2hours a day.

NERD ALERT

SO LASt SUNDAY I MADE MIKE STOP AT BARNES AND NOBLE IN SALT LAKE SO I COULD GET TWILIGHT...THIS BOOK EVERYBODY RAVES ABOUT. I HAD A 6 HOUR DRIVE AHEAD OF ME SO I FIGURED WHY NOT. WHILE I WAS THERE I GRABBED THE SEQUEL NEW MOON. ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I'VE EVER MADE. I FINISHED THESE 2 BOOKS IN 3 DAYS! THEN ON WEDNESDAY DESPITE MY BEST EFFORTS I COULDN'T FIND THE THIRD BOOK ECLPISE ANYWHERE SO I HAD TO ORDER THROUGH BARNES AND NOBLE AND FINALLY ON THURSDAY IT CAME. AND HERE IT IS FRIDAY NIGHT AND I'M FINISHED WITH THAT!! THESE BOOKS ARE JUST THAT GOOD. I CAN'T WAIT ANOTHER YEAR FOR THE FOURTH BOOK TO COME OUT. I NEED MY EDWARD!

Home Sweet Home

I'm so excited, me and my 2 little boys are packin up and headin to Salt Lake. No not to live but to play for 2 weeks. Even though Las Vegas is where I reside it is not my home. It's hot, no trees, and I could go on. I love Holladay the tree lined streets, the fresh air, the little town feeling, my family and friends. Also we are heading up to our cabin in Bear Lake. It will bittersweet cause it will be the first time I will be up there with both my grandparents gone. I have so many wonderful memories of my Grandma leading the parade and my Grandpa and Uncle Keith having a relay race on their rascals. I love it up there. Watch out Utah here we come!

Finished!

I bought the new Harry Potter on Monday morning and I finished Tuesday night. It was jam packed full of entertainment, and I honestly could not put it down. Sorry to my little kiddies who where neglected these last 2 days and sorry to my husband who had to make dinner and clean the house. I won't give away the ending but it seriously wasn't how i expected things to end.

3 MONTHS!!!!

Chase Varley is 3 months today and he is lovin life. He loves to eat and eat and eat and poop and poop and poop. But he is such a cutie. He giggles, gurgles and smiles up a storm. He loves his daddy and older brother. Chase is in the 90% in weight and height. He weighs 15lbs! What a chunk, and he can't wait to meet his chunky/cutie cousin Ethan in Bear Lake in 2 weeks!

Harry Potter was fantastic!

Last night Megan and Justin watched our kids while we went to Harry Potter! I think it was the best one by far, kind of dark but I loved it. It makes me that much more excited for the last book to come out. Thanks to Ashlie who made me read that first book on our flight to Arizona for McCall's wedding. And a special shout out to Megan and Justin cause Chase cried the entire time we were gone.

KICKED MY TRASH

So I got a gym membership in march of 2006. I was going back then but then I got pregnant then the holidays came around and what do ya know I haven't been once in 2007. Well I went today with Megan and it kicked my trash! We went to a sculpt class and it was so hard. I could do about 1 push up on my knees. But now that I'm home and showered I feel wonderful. I felt so good I had a slice of chocolate cheesecake(I have a serious problem with chocolate) But we've decided we are going back!

HAPPY FOURTH

We're having fun swimming and bbqing but i'll tell you what i sure miss Bear Lake my family is up there right now marching in the parade on our front lawn to Stars and Stripes Forever, then they'll have the Richards' summer games hosted by Uncle John and then have a delicious bbq with watermelon from the stream! i miss it so much! But we are having a rip roarin good time in vegas with the Marshall Fam!

McCalls Post

I am starting this page for michelle. It is way to complicated to figure out on your own (it was for me) and unfortunately michelle lives too far away for me to show her. I miss my friend and wish we lived close so that we could watch eachothers kids while we needed to go to the grocery store - and whatever else it is that we mothers enjoy to do WITHOUT screaming children.
